Welcome to Great Dane Rescue & Rehoming - this website is dedicated to finding new homes for Australian Great Danes.

We only aim to promote Great Danes who are well temperamented that will make good family companions.

From time to time we may promote special needs cases, these may be special needs due to health and sometimes temperament i.e. fearful (previous life experiences).

This website is owned by June Hayles from Great Dane Rescue & Rehoming QLD and acts as a listing service for other states, however no liability is accepted for Danes listed on this website. Potential families need to research the dog they are interested in and try and make the best decision for all concerned.

No Dog is perfect and pre-loved dogs always come with baggage, it might just be a small piece of hand luggage or it maybe an oversized suitcase, your Rescue Co-ordinator will help you the best they can to match you up with a Dane most suitable to your family and environment.

We also list Danes from other States in Australia looking for new homes, however Danes listed on this website are not necessarily a full representation of what is available Australia wide, so, please be sure to contact your States Rescue team to be put on their contact list.
